Canada is a northern country stretching from "Sea to Sea to Sea". It is bounded on the west by the Pacific Ocean, the north by the Arctic Ocean and the east by the Atlantic Ocean. We share our southern border with the United States of America.

Ontario
Canada's most populous province, Ontario is home to Canada's national capital region. The 'Trillium Province' also has the largest urban region in the country, rich fertile farmland in the south and millions of lakes and boundless forests in the north.

Durham Region
Durham Region is a sprawling regional municipality that is the easternmost community in the urban region of the Greater Toronto Area (G.T.A.) The region is home to over 300,000 people in many diverse communities; including the industrial city of Oshawa, the suburban cities of Ajax, Clarington, Whitby and Pickering and the agricultural townships of Uxbridge, Scugog and Brock north of the Oak Ridge Moraine.
Brock Township
Brock Township is situated in the north-easternmost corner of the Greater Toronto Area, and as the northernmost community in Durham Region.. Brock is a predominantly rural community with strong farming traditions and three small towns. Beaverton is the largest town with a population of about 3,000 people, followed by Cannington with around 1,500 citizens and Sunderland with approximately 1,200 residents. Most of the rest of the township consists of small hamlets, rural residential lots or farms with a well established cottage community along the shores of Lake Simcoe.
Brock High School
Brock High School is a small, rural composite secondary school of about 750 students and 60 staff located just west of Cannington amidst farmland. The school was built in 1954 to serve the expanding population of Brock Township, and has experienced a number of additions and expansions since opening. Brock has developed a solid reputation in athletics, academics and the arts in the forty four years of service to the community. Brock High School is a part of the Durham District Board of Education.
