Driver Education Program
FALL 2009 PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE!

Learn to drive safely in a Ministry of Transportation
approved program which combines 20 hours classroom, 10 hours in vehicle training and 10 hours of home links. in preparation for the G1 exit test. Upon successful completion of the Beginner Driver Education course, G1 licence holders will be certified on-line by Durham Continuing Education, a ministry-approved Beginner Education Program Provider. Students may qualify for a four-month reduction in the 12 month minimum G1 licensing period as well as a potential reduction in insurance premiums.
All students MUST bring a completed registration form and a legible photocopy of the front & back of their driver's licence to the first class.
Participants in the program must be at least 16 years
of age, a current secondary school student and hold a valid G1 licence before the in-car
sessions begin, but may start the in-class instruction provided they are in the process of acquiring a G1 licence.
