The Durham Virtual Campus eLearning Programs The Continuing Education Division of Durhamvc.org is excited to offer online learning opportunities to supplement our 'on-ground' courses. Our goal is to leverage the power of the internet through the convergence of learning, networks and the new economy to provide you with a 'total quality' learning experience without leaving the comfort of your home. The Durham Virtual High School eLearning for Durham and other secondary school students is quickly becoming a mainstream method of curriculum delivery. We want to ensure that our students have the requisite skills to compete in the global economy. The Durham Virtual High School will deliver high quality credit courses to all Durham students. Opportunities will be provided for students to achieve credits in an online environment providing the flexibility of time and space. These credits are designed to meet the needs of learners who are unable to access the courses they need in traditional classroom settings. All courses offered in the Virtual High School will be 'for credit', to meet the requirements of a high school diploma in Ontario and will be taught by certified teachers.
