Overview

The Alternative Learning Centre offers students an opportunity to develop an
individual education plan that can be supported at the Learning Centre either full or part time. In this continuous intake program there are a wide variety of course options that may include credit recovery, independent study, cooperative education and full credit courses. Students have the option of attending a full-time six week credit session with a life skills component. E-learning is available for those individuals who are not able to attend in-class sessions.

Student Profile:

  • 17 to 20 years old
  • Independent learners
  • College & Workplace destinations
  • Requires a few credits to graduate
  • May require core subjects to return to home school

NOTE:

Students under the age of 18 require a referral from the home school to attend.
