See course descriptions for fees. The Goods and Services Tax has been included in the course fee.

NOTE: Cheques or money orders for course fees should be made payable to:
The Durham District School Board. Allow approximately 3 weeks for the General Interest receipt to arrive by mail.

There will be an additional $15 charge for NSF Cheques.
POSTDATED CHEQUES ARE NOT ACCEPTED

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Computer and General Interest Courses

Cancelled Course
A full credit will be issued if the course is cancelled by Durham Continuing Education. The Durham District School Board reserves the right to close a class. If a class is closed or fails to start because the minimum number of registrants is not achieved, every effort will be made to accommodate students in a similar class in another school.

Withdrawal
All request for refunds must be received in writing by Durham Continuing Education, Main Office, 120 Centre St. S., Oshawa, Ontario L1N 2W3. Fees paid in cash, cheque, debit, or money order will be refunded by cheque. Fees paid by credit card will be credited to your credit card account. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for processing of a refund. There will be NO CASH REFUNDS.

7 Days Prior to Start Date
Receive Full Credit or Refund if your refund request is received by Durham Continuing Education 7 days before the start of the program.

Prior to Start of Second Class
Receive pro-rated credit or refund (whether or not class attended) if your request is received by Durham Continuing Education prior to the start of the second class of the program, (less a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee.)

Age Requirements

Registrants for Computer and General Interest Courses must be 16 years of age or older, unless otherwise noted.

NSF Cheques

Cheques not honoured by your financial institution must be replaced immediately upon notification by cash or certified cheque. An administration fee of $15.00 will be charged.
